Hailey and Tanner made little cards to put on Noah's gifts and he genuinely loved the cards! He kept carefully opening them and turning them over and over. Kids had a hard time getting him interested in unwrapping the presents!
The ball popper got a lot of giggles!
Needless to say, he didn't hesitate once he had a piece in front of him -- he grabbed it and shoved it in his mouth! We didn't expect that because when both Hailey and Tanner turned one, they just poked their first piece of cake for a while before eating it. Not Noah -- carpe diem, baby!
Noah started walking the week of his birthday and he loves trying to keep up with his big brother and sister. He's such a little mimicker; he tries to put clothes on, talk on the phone, sing at church, make car sounds, and he gets such a kick out of waving styrofoam swords and light-sabers around just like the big kids! Noah loves to read books. He loves the water in whatever form he can get it in; the bathtub, the pool, or the toilet!! He definitely makes sure his voice is heard in our noisy little house; he is an expressive little guy! Brandon and I laugh to ourselves because after we named him, we found out what the name Noah means: "peaceful"! He's far from that, but we love the little guy anyway! We can't imagine our family without him!
